William Cutter Ruel Gauthier is a professional ice hockey player playing for the Anaheim Ducks in the NHL. Originally from Sweden, he was drafted fifth overall by the Philadelphia Flyers in the 2022 NHL Entry Draft. On January 8, 2024, Gauthier was traded to the Ducks in exchange for Jamie Drysdale and a second-round pick for the 2025 NHL Draft.

After a successful college season at Boston College, where he scored 65 points in 41 games, Gauthier signed a three-year entry-level contract with the Ducks on April 14, 2024. His outstanding performance in the NCAA included leading the league in game-winning goals and being named a finalist for the Hobey Baker Award. Gauthier also made a significant impact internationally, helping Team USA win a gold medal at the 2024 IIHF World Junior Championship, where he was recognized as the best forward.
