New Jersey Devils' season so far, and their schedule for the remainder of October
The New Jersey Devils got off to a hot start to the year, winning back-to-back games against the Buffalo Sabres to open the 2024-25 season in Prague. While they fell to the Toronto Maple Leafs in their first game in North America, they bounced back with two straight wins over the Washington Capitals and Utah Hockey Club to bring their season record to 4-1.
Since then, they have gone just 1-5, with their lone win coming against the Ottawa Senators on Oct 17.
Heading into Sunday's game, the Devils' four-game skid has seen them fall to the Washington Capitals, Tampa Bay Lightning, Detroit Red Wings, and most recently, the New York Islanders.
Following Sunday's game against the Anaheim Ducks, the team will close out the month of October with a road game against the Vancouver Canucks, which will be the first of three games on the road to start the month of November.
