Dylan Larkin is an American ice hockey player and captain of the Detroit Red Wings in the NHL. He was drafted 15th overall by the Red Wings in the 2014 NHL Entry Draft. Before joining the NHL, he played at the University of Michigan during the 2014-2015 season, where he earned several accolades, including Hockey Commissioners Association National Rookie of the Month and Big Ten Freshman of the Year.

Larkin signed a three-year contract with the Detroit Red Wings in May 2015 and made his NHL debut in October 2015. He was named NHL Rookie of the Month in November 2015, recording 23 goals and 22 assists in his rookie season. Larkin also made history as the fastest skater in the 2016 NHL All-Star Game SuperSkills Competition.
