Eric Robinson family

Eric Robinson, born on June 14, 1995, is an American professional ice hockey left winger playing for the Carolina Hurricanes in the NHL as of 2025. A native of Bellmawr, New Jersey, Robinson was undrafted and made his professional debut with the Columbus Blue Jackets as a free agent. Robinson began his journey at Gloucester Catholic High School before advancing to the USHL’s Dubuque Fighting Saints. He later played at Princeton University, where he captained the Tigers in his senior season. At Princeton, he led the team to an ECAC championship in the 2017-18 season.

Robinson made his NHL debut with the Columbus Blue Jackets in 2018 and played six seasons with the team, achieving career milestones like his first NHL goal and a hat-trick in the 2022–23 season. Following a brief stint with the Buffalo Sabres, he joined the Hurricanes in 2024.
