Evan Bouchard is a Canadian defenseman for the Edmonton Oilers in the NHL as of May 2025. Bouchard started his junior career with the London Knights after being drafted by them as the 17th overall (first round) pick in the 2015 OHL Priority Selection. He was a part of the team that won the J. Ross Robertson Cup and the 2016 Memorial Cup. The following season, Bouchard became the captain of the team in just his second year with the team.
