Evan Rodrigues, born on July 28, 1993, is a Canadian professional ice hockey player, playing with the Florida Panthers in the National Hockey League (NHL). Notably, Rodrigues began his career with the Buffalo Sabres after signing a two-way entry-level contract with them on July 27, 2015.

Prior to that, Rodrigues began his amateur career with the Georgetown Raiders in the Ontario Junior Hockey League (OJHL) and played two seasons with them. Later on, he became a key player for the Boston University Terriers as he earned multiple awards while putting up impressive performances year after year with them.

Presently, he is playing with the Florida Panthers and will be hoping to lift the Stanley Cup with them.

Evan Rodrigues’ Parents

Christine and Norbert Rodrigues are Evan Rodrigues’ parents. Notably, Christine worked for the Toronto Transit Commission, while Norbert worked as a driver in the city of Mississauga. Originally from Europe, Norbert moved to Ontario in his teens.

They worked extra hours to pay for hockey trips and equipment and often skipped vacations and personal time for their children. Christine would drop the boys off at the rink on her way to work, and Norbert would pick them up after his job.

Evan Rodrigues’ Siblings

Evan Rodrigues has two brothers, named Paul and Ryan respectively.

Paul Rodrigues, five years older than Evan and is also associated with the sport of hockey. Notably, he earned a scholarship to the State University of New York at Oswego and was named NCAA Division III Player of the Year for the 2012-13 season. Later on, Paul had stints with Pensacola Ice Flyers, Greenville Road Warriors, South Carolina Stingrays, Norfolk Admirals and the Adirondack Thunder.

Ryan started skating later than Evan and Paul but shares the same passion for hockey. However, additional details about him are not widely available in the public domain.

Evan Rodrigues’ Wife

Evan Rodrigues got married to Christina Rodrigues in July 2017. Notably, they met while Rodrigues was attending Boston University. While much information about her is not available, it is known that she is a stay-at-home person.

Evan Rodrigues’ Kids

Evan Rodrigues and wife Christina Rodrigues have three kids. Their first son Grayson was born in October 2018, while their second son Noah was born on June 17, 2020.
