Evgeni Malkin has three Stanley Cup rings. He won them with the Pittsburgh Penguins in 2009, 2016, and 2017.

On June 12, 2009, the Penguins secured his first Stanley Cup with a 2–1 victory over the Detroit Red Wings in Game 7 of the Finals. Malkin's remarkable performance included 36 points (14 goals and 22 assists), making him the first player since Mario Lemieux in 1992 to lead both the regular season and playoffs in scoring. His 36 points marked the highest playoff total since Wayne Gretzky's 40 points in 1993. Malkin's outstanding contribution earned him the Conn Smythe Trophy as the playoff MVP. It was a historic achievement as he was the first Russian and Asian-born player to receive the honor. He also became the second player in franchise's history to win both the Art Ross and Conn Smythe trophies in the same year.

Malkin played a crucial role in the Penguins' consecutive Stanley Cup victories in the 2015–16 and 2016–17 seasons. His outstanding performance led the 2017 playoffs with 28 points and made him the 29th player in NHL history to achieve 150 points in the playoffs.

Malkin earned the Calder Memorial Trophy as the top rookie for the 2006-07 season. Throughout his career, Malkin has achieved numerous accolades, including three Stanley Cup championships with the Penguins (2009, 2016, 2017), the Hart Memorial Trophy as the NHL's MVP (2011-12), the Art Ross Trophy twice (2008-09, 2011-12), the Ted Lindsay Award (2011-12), and the Conn Smythe Trophy in 2009.

Malkin has exceeded 100 points in a season three times, with a career-high of 113 points in 2008-09, and 50 goals in 2011-12. His playoff performances were equally impressive, earning the Conn Smythe Trophy in 2009 and leading the Penguins to consecutive championships in 2016 and 2017. On July 12, 2022, Malkin committed to a four-year, $24.4 million contract with the Pittsburgh Penguins, ensuring that he concluded his NHL career with the team. He celebrated his 1,000th NHL game on November 20, 2022, with a goal in a 5-3 win against the Chicago Blackhawks, Malkin, at 36 years and 163 days, became the oldest Penguins player with a four-point game since Bill Guerin in 2009.
