Evgenii Dadonov is a Russian professional ice hockey player playing as a forward in the National Hockey League (NHL). Evgenii Dadonov's journey in the NHL began when the Florida Panthers selected him in the third round of the 2007 NHL Draft and made his NHL debut during the 2009-10 season, showcasing his skills in the Panthers' final four games. Notably, Dadonov's first NHL goal came against the Carolina Hurricanes on December 15, 2010.

Over the next season, he continued to develop without gaining a regular position in the Panthers line-up. This led to him getting traded to the Carolina Hurricanes, where he played with their American Hockey League affliate, the Charlotte Checkers before leaving Notrh America for the KHL. However, Dadonov returned to the NHL, signing a three-year contract with the Panthers in 2017, staying with the team until 2019-20 season.

In October 2020, Dadonov embarked on a new chapter with the Ottawa Senators, where he contributed 20 points (13 goals, seven assists) in 55 games. However, his tenure with the Senators was brief, as he was traded to the Vegas Golden Knights in July 2021, before ultimately being traded to the Montreal Canadiens in June 2022. Unfortunatley, his time with the Canadiens was also relatively short-lived, as he was soon dealt to the Dallas Stars in February 2023, where he later signed a two-year contract.
