Filip Chytil is a professional ice hockey center from Czech, playing for the New York Rangers in the NHL. Born on September 5, 1999, in Kroměříž, Czech Republic, Chytil quickly emerged as one of the top prospects in his home country. He played for PSG Zlín in the Czech Extraliga during the 2016-17 season and recorded four goals and four assists in 38 games. Chytil was drafted 21st overall by the New York Rangers in the first round of the 2017 NHL Entry Draft.
