The Philadelphia Flyers will look to make it four consecutive wins on Thursday when they face the New York Rangers in a pivotal Metropolitan Division showdown. After winning four of their last five games, the Flyers are eager to make a push in the Eastern Conference wild-card race, as they are just two points behind the Ottawa Senators for the second wild-card spot.
However, the Rangers are looking to work their way into wild-card contention. After a hot start to the season, they have fallen to fifth in the division, tied with the Flyers.
With both teams looking to pick up a win, and the wild-card race competitive, the stakes couldn't be higher.
