Frank Nazar, born January 14, 2004, is an American professional ice hockey center playing for the Chicago Blackhawks in the NHL (as of Jan 2025). A native of Mount Clemens, Michigan, he was drafted 13th overall in the 2022 NHL Entry Draft. Nazar honed his skills with the USA Hockey National Team Development Program before committing to the University of Michigan.

Internationally, Nazar has represented the United States at multiple tournaments, earning a silver medal at the 2020 Winter Youth Olympics and another at the 2022 IIHF World U18 Championships. In 2024, he contributed eight assists to help Team USA secure a gold medal at the World Junior U-20 Championships.

Frank Nazar's early days

Frank Nazar began his hockey journey with local youth teams in Michigan. He first gained attention playing for Honeybaked 13U AAA in the High-Performance Hockey League (HPHL). Nazar continued to impress through the ranks, playing for Little Caesars 14U AAA and later for Honeybaked 15U AAA.
