Tonight, the Vegas Golden Knights will look to snap a two-game skid when they face off against the Anaheim Ducks in the first of two road games this week. While Vegas has gotten off to a hot start this year, and is sitting in second place in a stacked Pacific Division, the team will be entering tonight's game after losses to the Seattle Kraken and Carolina Hurricanes.
On the flip side, Anaheim will be looking to build on a win over the Columbus Blue Jackets, which snapped a four-game skid for the team that had seen them go just 3-6-1 over their last 10.
Heading into tonight's game, Vegas will be without several players, with Victor Olofsson and Jakub Demek on the non-roster injured reserve list. In addition, defenseman Nicolas Hague was placed on the injured reserve list on Nov. 8 with a lower-body injury.
On top of that, both Ilya Samsonov and Mark Stone are listed as day-to-day and are expected to miss tonight's game against Anaheim.

Looking at the odds for tonight's game between the Vegas Golden Knights and the Anaheim Ducks as well as upcoming games for Vegas
After a first-round elimination from the Stanley Cup Playoffs last year, the Vegas Golden Knights entered this season eager to get off to a hot start. Given that they went from winning the Stanley Cup in 2023 to a first-round exit from last year's playoffs, Vegas fans have been eager to see the team turn things around.
While there's still plenty of hockey left to play this season, the team hasn't been able to keep up with last season's record. 15 games into the season last year, the Golden Knights had a 12-2-1 record compared to the 9-4-2 record they have this season.
Despite that, Vegas is sitting as pretty comfortable betting favorites heading into tonight's game against the Anaheim Ducks with -230 odds on DraftKings. On the flip side, the Anaheim Ducks are sitting firmly as underdogs with +190 odds.
These odds are consistent with those seen on FanDuel, where the Golden Knights are -215 favorites and the Ducks are +176 underdogs.
To simplify these odds using the FanDuel numbers as an example, it would take a $215 bet on Vegas as the favorites to win $100 whereas a $100 bet on Anaheim as the underdogs would win $176.
Following tonight's game, Vegas will wrap up a two-game road trip with a game against Utah on Friday, before heading back home to host the Capitals on Sunday.
