The NHL All-Star Game indicates the halfway stage of the NHL regular season every year. The fans choose their preferred players and they then team up with other players to defeat their opponents in the game.

Notably, Wayne Gretzky holds the record of scoring most goals with 13 goals in 18 games while Mario Lemieux scored the same number of goals in just 10 games. All-Star Players in 2024 All-Star Games
The 2024 All-Star Games will have a total of 44 All-Star players. Out of these, the NHL has selected 32 players by choosing one player from all the NHL teams. This was revealed on January 4, 2024. They also revealed two of the team names- Team Matthews with Auston Matthews as the captain and Team McDavid with Connor MacDavid as the captain on January 4, 2023.
The fans chose the remaining 12 players through voting, which was revealed on January 13, 2024. The remaining two teams for the All-Star were revealed on January 20, 2024 - Team MacKinnon with Nathan MacKinnon as the captain and Team Hughes with Jack Hughes as the captain.
The league also updated the alternate captains for the four teams. Team Matthews has Morgan Rielly as the assistant captain, Team McDavid has Leon Draisaitl as the assistant captain, and Team MacKinnon has Cale Makar as the assistant captain. For Team Hughes, since Jack Hughes is injured, Quinn Hughes will be the captain of the team while Elias Pettersson will serve as the assistant captain. These four captains along with their assistant captains then picked their teammates on February 1, 2023.
