McDavid was also honored with the Hart Memorial Trophy, the Ted Lindsay Award, and a spot on the NHL First All-Star Team.

His career includes four NHL First Team All-Star selections, five Art Ross Trophy victories, four Ted Lindsay Awards, three Hart Memorial Trophies, and the Maurice "Rocket" Richard Trophy for the 2022–23 season as the league's leading goal-scorer. McDavid's achievements also include being one of only two players, alongside Oilers captain Wayne Gretzky in 1982, to unanimously secure the Hart Memorial Trophy as the league's most valuable player.
