Ivan Demidov is a Russian ice hockey right winger who plays for the Montreal Canadiens. He started playing with DYUSSH Dmitrov and later impressed with Vityaz U16 and SKA-1946 St. Petersburg. He debuted in the KHL with SKA Saint Petersburg at age 16. Despite injuries during the 2023–24 season, he won the Kharlamov Cup and was named MVP again. In the 2024 NHL Draft, Demidov was selected fifth overall by Montreal.

Demidov had a strong 2024–25 KHL season, finishing with 49 points and setting a new points record for an under-20 player. He joined the Canadiens in April 2025 on a three-year entry-level deal. In his NHL debut on April 14, he scored a goal and an assist, becoming one of the youngest Canadiens to record a multi-point debut. He later recorded his first NHL playoff points with two assists against the Washington Capitals.
