Jack Drury is an American professional ice hockey center for the Carolina Hurricanes in the NHL. He was selected 42nd overall by the Hurricanes in the 2018 NHL Draft. Drury grew up in Winnetka, Illinois, after initially living in New York City, where his father, Ted, played for the Islanders. He attended Loyola Academy before transferring to Waterloo West High School to join the Waterloo Black Hawks in the USHL.

Drury played youth hockey for the Chicago Mission and later joined Harvard’s hockey team, earning All-ECAC Second Team honors in his sophomore year. During the COVID-19 pandemic, he signed with Sweden’s Växjö Lakers, where he excelled in his debut professional season, earning a Rookie of the Year nomination and winning the Le Mat Trophy. He returned to North America in 2021, signing a three-year entry-level contract with the Hurricanes.
