Jason Robertson is an American professional ice hockey left winger playing for the Dallas Stars in the National Hockey League, as of 2024. He was selected by the Dallas Stars in the second round of 39th overall pick in the 2017 NHL Entry draft. Robertson started his minor hockey with Little Caesars and Detroit Kings AAA in Michigan. He played in the Ontario Hockey League with the Kingston Frontenacs.
In his first season with Kingston, he scored 18 goals and this impressive score was the most since Anthony Stewart during the 2001-02 season. After two years Robertson became the first Frontenac to score back-to-back 40 goals in a season. After his incredible seasons with the Kingston, he was traded to the Niagara IceDogs in the 2018-2019 season in the OHL. During his season with them, Roberston contributed 79 points in 38 games and helped the team win the Eddie Powers Memorial Trophy and the Top Scorer Award. Jason Roberston made his NHL debut in the 2019-2020 season with the Dallas Stars and spent time playing with the AHL affiliate team of Dallas the Texas Stars. The following season, Robertson earned the spot on the opening night roster for the Dallas where he contributed 17 goals and 28 assists in just 51 games, becoming the Calder Memorial Trophy runner-up for his impressive score.
