Kevin Hayes is a professional ice hockey player for the Pittsburgh Penguins in the NHL. He began his hockey journey in the Quebec International Pee-Wee Hockey Tournament, where he represented South Shore in 2004 and 2005. Hayes went on to play high school hockey at Noble and Greenough School, scoring 67 points in 28 games during the 2009-10 season.

Hayes' professional career started when he signed with the New York Rangers in 2014 after becoming a free agent. He made an immediate impact in the NHL, ranking fifth among rookies in points during his debut season. After a successful stint with the Rangers, he was traded to the Winnipeg Jets in 2019 and later signed a seven-year contract with the Philadelphia Flyers.

He also shared how challenging it was to return to hockey without his brother by his side, but he strives to keep Jimmy's legacy alive.
