Kristopher Joseph Pierre Irwin Letang, born on April 24, 1987, is a Canadian professional ice hockey defenceman and alternate captain for the Pittsburgh Penguins in the National Hockey League (NHL). Affectionately known as "Tanger," Letang played three seasons in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League (QMJHL) before being selected 62nd overall by the Penguins in the 2005 NHL Entry Draft.

In his second full NHL season, Letang achieved his first Stanley Cup victory with Pittsburgh in 2009. He went on to become a two-time Stanley Cup champion in 2016, defeating the San Jose Sharks, and a three-time Stanley Cup champion in 2017, overcoming the Nashville Predators.
