Kyle Connor, born on December 9, 1996, is an American professional ice hockey player who currently plays for the Winnipeg Jets in the National Hockey League (NHL). He was drafted as the 17th overall pick during the 2015 NHL entry-level draft by the Winning Jets. While he primarily played for Manitoba of the American Hockey League during the 2016-17 season, he also appeared in 20 games with the Jets. It was during one of these games that he notched his first NHL goal, contributing to a 4–1 victory against the Dallas Stars on October 27, 2016. Proving his rookie season was no mere fluke, Connor demonstrated his prowess by tallying 34 goals in the 2018-19 season, a feat he surpassed in his third season.

Connor made history in the 2021-22 season, he became the first player from the Jets/Atlanta Thrashers franchise to clinch the Lady Byng Trophy. Throughout the season, he led Winnipeg in scoring, setting personal NHL career highs with 47 goals, 46 assists, and 93 points in 79 games. He was also named to the All-Star Game in 2022 and 2024.
