Linus Ullmark is an ice hockey goaltender for the Ottawa Senators in the National Hockey League as of 2024. He was born on July 31, 1993, in Lugnvik, Sweden,. He first played Junior Hockey 20 (J20) National in Sweden. According to his NHL bio, Linus Ullmark played with the Modo Hockey team in the Swedish Hockey League (SEL) for three years before moving to North America. He signed a three-year entry-level contract with the Buffalo Sabres in 2014. However, before debuting in the NHL, he was temporarily transferred to Modo Hockey in the SHL for the 2014-2015 season.
Ullmark suffered an injury after returning to play the following season. He was assigned to American Rochester (an affiliate team of Buffalo Sabres) of the AHL to kick start the 2015-2016 NHL season. He played with American Rochester for a significant amount of time before being a regular in the NHL. Linus became a regular in the NHL in 2018 and fairly played his role as a goaltender. In the Sabres' season debut on October 13, 2018, he recorded his first-ever shutout. During the game against the Arizona Coyotes, Ullmark saved all 36 shots.
