Luke Glen Richardson is a Canadian professional ice hockey coach, currently serving as a head coach for the Chicago Blackhawks in the National Hockey League (NHL). Born on March 26, 1969, he had an impressive 21-season career as a defenseman in the NHL before becoming a coach. Richardson was selected as the seventh overall pick by the Toronto Maple Leafs in the 1987 NHL Entry Draft.
Throughout his career in the NHL, he played for multiple teams including Maple Leafs, Oilers, Philadelphia Flyers, Columbus Blue Jackets, and Tampa Bay Lightning.
