Tonight, the Toronto Maple Leafs will look to make it three in a row after back-to-back wins over the New York Islanders to close out 2024 and kick-off 2025. Across from them on the ice tonight will be the Boston Bruins, a team sitting in third place, just six points behind the first-place Maple Leafs in the divisional standings.

While Toronto will be looking to extend a winning streak tonight, Boston will be looking to get back in the win column after a loss to the Capitals to close out 2024 and a loss to the Rangers to kick off 2025.

Although the Maple Leafs have momentum on their side tonight, the team will be without several players. Anthony Stolarz, Calle Jarnkrok and Auston Matthews are all on IR, while Pontus Holmberg is questionable to play with an illness.

Looking at the odds for tonight's Maple Leafs vs Bruins game as well as upcoming games on Toronto's schedule

Heading into tonight's highly anticipated rematch from the first round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs last year, the Maple Leafs are sitting as a slight betting favorite.

On FanDuel, Toronto is a -142 favorite, while on the flip side, Boston is a +118 underdog. On Bally Bet, Toronto is a -136 favorite, while Boston is a +112 underdog.

If these betting lines remain consistent, it would take a $142 bet on Toronto as the favorites to win $100 on FanDuel, while a $100 bet on Boston as the underdogs would win $118.

Following tonight's game, Toronto will host the Philadelphia Flyers tomorrow night before then heading to Philly to play the Flyers in a rematch on Tuesday. From there, the team will head to Carolina to play the Hurricanes on Thursday before heading back home for a three-game stretch.
