After a road game against the St. Louis Blues last night, the Toronto Maple Leafs will look to wrap up the second leg of a back-to-back when they face off against the Minnesota Wild. When the team takes the ice, they will be without several players.
In addition to defenseman Dakota Mermis and center Calle Jarnkrok both being on the long-term injured reserve list, they will be without defenseman Jani Hakanpaa and center Connor Dewar.
Both players are currently recovering from injuries and will be on assignment with the Leafs' AHL affiliates as they work their way back to 100%.

Looking at the Toronto Maple Leafs upcoming home stretch as the team looks to pull ahead in the Atlantic Division
Following tonight's road game against the Wild, which will be the second straight road game for the Maple Leafs, the team will return home to Toronto for a four-game stretch.
On Tuesday, Nov. 5, the team will host the Boston Bruins in a rematch of last year's first round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs. They will then host a Detroit Red Wings on Nov. 8.
Then, the following night, on Nov. 9, the team will host the Montreal Canadiens in the second leg of a back-to-back before wrapping up their four-game home stretch with a clash against the Ottawa Senators.
The Maple Leafs will then hit the road for a highly anticipated clash with the Washington Capitals on Nov. 13, before returning home to Toronto.
