Martin St. Louis is a Canadian hockey coach and former NHL player who is the head coach of the Montreal Canadiens. He played 1,134 games and scored 391 goals over his NHL career, which included stints with the Calgary Flames, Tampa Bay Lightning, and New York Rangers. A standout with the Lightning, he helped lead the team to a Stanley Cup championship in 2004 and was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame in 2018.

In college, St. Louis excelled with the Vermont Catamounts, earning multiple All-American honors. As a pro, he won the Hart Trophy and two Art Ross Trophies and was selected for six All-Star Games. He also represented Canada in several international events, winning a gold medal at the 2014 Winter Olympics and the 2004 World Cup. St. Louis won the Lady Byng Trophy three times as the NHL’s most gentlemanly player.
