
Matthew Nieto is an American professional ice hockey left winger, playing for the Pittsburgh Penguins in the NHL as of 2025. Born on November 5, 1992, in Long Beach, California, he was drafted by the San Jose Sharks in the second round and the 47th overall of the 2011 NHL Entry Draft. Nieto has played for the Sharks, Colorado Avalanche, and Penguins during his NHL career.
