The New York Sirens are a professional ice hockey team based in the New York metropolitan area, competing in the Professional Women's Hockey League (PWHL). They are one of the league's six charter franchises and play their home games at Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey. The team was founded in 2023, with Pascal Daoust as the inaugural general manager and Howie Draper as the first head coach.

In their first season, the Sirens made history by playing in the league's first game, a 4–0 victory over PWHL Toronto. After a challenging season, they secured the first overall pick in the 2024 PWHL Draft, selecting Sarah Fillier. In September 2024, the team was officially named the "Sirens." They also updated their color scheme to include turquoise, navy blue, white, and orange.
