Montreal Canadiens fans expressed their frustration online following a disappointing 7-2 loss to the New York Rangers during Tuesday's "NHL Frozen Frenzy."

Nick Suzuki stood out as the lone scorer for the Habs, netting the two goals for the home team in the game. This marks the fifth straight loss for the Canadiens.

Fans took to X/Twitter to voice their anger and disappointment over the team's heavy defeat. One pointed their finger at coach Marty St. Louis, tweeting:

"Fire St Louis."

Another chimed in:

"7-2 at home is an absolute disgrace. Hopefully the pee wee coach days are counted. Never want to see Primeau in a habs jersey again. DOGS***T.

Here are some of the other top reactions on X:

"Yet another lackluster performance. Should we play with a 6th attacker? This team was supposed to get better? Where? When? wrote one disgruntled fan.
"Rebuild? What will Marty say as an excuse tonight? There's no effort and accountability in this team. St-Louis must go," another commented.
"Imagine playing like that in front of those 70's legends. Thank God Larry Robinson wasn't there to see this," tweeted one X user.
For the full season made here! Ciborium there are 7 games to play and half the team is injured and playing with 0 enthusiasm! It might have taken 20 pre-season games finally...It's time for the punitive/intensive training to start.. the guys are on vacation now," wrote another.
