Vancouver Canucks fans expressed their disappointment on social media following the team's narrow 4-3 loss to the St. Louis Blues on Tuesday.

The major highlight of the game was the return of goaltender Thatcher Demko between the pipes, who made his first start since playoffs after recovering from a knee injury. He finished the game with 21 saves, including a crucial stop during OT.

However, Dylan Holloway scored 1:40 into the extra period, leaving the Canucks fans disappointed as they hoped for a better outcome in a closely contested matchup.

One fan on X/Twitter said:

"Tochett OT management was absolutely terrible. Blueger is not an OT guy ffs…"

Another fan expressed their disappointment with Brock Boeser's failed attempt before Holloway's winner:

"That was atrocious from Boeser."

Here are some more reactions from fans on X:

"Why did brock attempt that pass instead of just holding onto it there and then gives up possession and they score…," another fan posted.
"Tocchet has no clue what lines to put in overtime it’s insane," one fan said.
"Wtf was Tocchet thinking putting Blueger and Boeser together the 2 slowest forwards," another fan asked.
"Blueger and Boeser for 3 on 3? Lol oh man the Canucks suuuuuuuck in OT and SO," another fan wrote.

The Vancouver Canucks host the Florida Panthers next at Rogers Arena on Thursday. The puck is scheduled to drop at 10:00 p.m. ET.
