Florida Panthers forward A.J. Greer’s wife Taylore joined the growing list of NHL players and their family members expressing their feelings about the past year on social media. In an Instagram Story on Wednesday, Taylore reflected on her experiences in 2024, saying that the “year felt like a blessing chapter.”
Taylore and A.J. had a lot to be thankful for. In February, she gave birth to their first child, Jackson. He has already come out to support his dad on the ice and even has his own #10 jersey. The Florida Panthers signed A.J. on a two-year $1.7-million contract in July. He has flourished with the reigning Stanley Cup champions, and Panthers coach Paul Maurice praised him on Dec. 25.
“He’s a keeper for us,” Maurice said, via Yahoo! Sports.
In her heartfelt story expressing gratitude for the experiences last year, Taylore shared a photo of their family out for a walk on the beach on a sunny day.
“I try wake up grateful every day, even on the hard ones. In 2024, I focused on comparing less, consuming wayy less, and truly enjoying my people. Being my authentic self without regret. This year felt like a blessing chapter,” Taylore captioned.
Taylore’s post celebrates her family and her personal growth and resilience. It is also an expression of gratitude for the providence and good fortune their family has had in 2024.
Let’s look at A.J. Greer’s youngest fan
A.J. Greer has hit the ice running after joining the Florida Panthers in July, and the forward has had his son cheering him on from the stands. Taylore has on multiple occasions shared social media posts featuring her and Jackson cheering A.J. on.
One of the most notable occasions happened in October when Taylore shared an Instagram post showing A.J. and Jackson interacting during pregame practice. Jackson was wearing a #10 Panthers jersey and everyone saw the delight on his father’s face.
Greer has had a breakout season with the Panthers. He has done well as a power forward and has not been afraid to get physical on the ice. On Oct. 14 against the Boston Bruins, A.J. took out Bruins star David Pastrnak from behind and wasn’t penalized. It led to a fight with Pavel Zacha.
