The Boston Bruins host the Philadelphia Flyers on Tuesday, with the puck drop scheduled for 7 p.m. ET. Boston (4-4-1) is coming off a 4-3 overtime win over the Toronto Maple Leafs on Saturday. Ahead of their game against the Flyers, here is what the Bruins' predicted lineup is expected to look like.

Predicted Bruins lineup

Forwards

  • Pavel Zacha - Elias Lindholm - David Pastrnak
  • Brad Marchand - Charlie Coyle - Justin Brazeau
  • Trent Frederic - Matthew Poitras - Morgan Geekie
  • John Beecher - Mark Kastelic - Cole Koepke

The Bruins are averaging three goals per game this season, but they are still trying to find the right lines to determine the right chemistry.

“It’s a great win, especially against our rivals, so it’s huge,” David Pastrnak said, via NHL. “[I’m more happy] about the way we played today all game, the way we competed. Every line was on it.”

Defensemen

  • Mason Lohrei - Charlie McAvoy
  • Hampus Lindholm - Brandon Carlo
  • Nikitz Zadorov - Andrew Peeke

The Bruins' defensive unit has been a bright spot for the team, as the focus has been keeping the puck out of its net and winning low-scoring games.

Goalies

  • Jeremy Swayman
  • Joonas Korpisalo

Jeremy Swayman will start on Tuesday for Boston. He's one of the best goalies in the NHL and is 3-3-1 with a 2.97 GAA and a .900 SV%.

Bruins vs. Flyers: Preview

Boston is a -205 favorite, while Philadelphia is a +170 underdog. The over/under is set at six goals.

The Bruins are coming off a great win over Toronto and should use that momentum to carry them to a win here. Boston is led by its goaltending and defense, which is a good spot here since Philadelphia is struggling to score.

The Flyers are averaging 2.88 goals per game while allowing 4.44 goals per game. Philadelphia has some of the worst goaltending in the NHL this season, and Boston should be able to take advantage of it.

Philadelphia recalled Aleksei Kolosov as both Samuel Ersson and Ivan Fedotov have struggled in the net.

“Ivan hasn’t played well enough,” Flyers coach John Tortorella said, via theScore. “We’re trying to solve, trying to look at the situation and see where it goes.”

Boston should be able to score while Philadelphia's offense will struggle against Swayman here.

Prediction: Bruins 4, Flyers 1.
