Carey Price and family go skating in the rain to keep ‘Christmas family skate tradition alive’

Carey Price and his family kept their Christmas "tradition alive" by going skating in the rain. The rain didn’t stop them from enjoying their Christmas together.

Angela Price, Carey’s wife, shared pictures of the special moment on her Instagram story. The first photo showed Carey, Angela, and their three children skating outdoors at an ice rink. Despite the rain, the family was determined to continue their tradition. Angela wrote:

"Merry Christmas, it was raining but we kept our Christmas family skate tradition alive."

Other photos from the story gave a glimpse of the family’s Christmas celebration. One photo showed a beautifully set dinner table with a beige napkin, rosemary, and a small name tag. Another picture showed a Santa-themed plate design and more rosemary sprigs on the table.

In a black-and-white photo, Carey’s daughter and Angela Price’s mother, Alice, enjoyed tea from vintage teacups. A warm moment between Carey’s wife, Angela, and one of their sons was also shared. They were smiling as Angela had tea.

The final photo showed a decorated chocolate cake with white frosting, rosemary sprigs, and red berries. Angela’s story gave a look into the family’s warm and joyful Christmas celebration.

Carey Price is proud of his Ulkatcho First Nation and Nuxalk heritage. He met his wife, Angela Webber, while playing with the Tri-City Americans. They were introduced on a blind date. Carey Price and Angela married in 2013. They now have three children: Liv, Millie and Lincoln. The family lives in Kelowna, British Columbia, during the off-season.

Montreal Canadiens' star goalie Carey Price is teaching his four-year-old son Lincoln how to skate. On December 14, Angela Price shared photos of their recent outing at an indoor rink on Instagram. Carey skated alongside Lincoln, who wore a red Canadiens jersey with No. 31, using a skating aid. Angela captioned one photo:

“Linc is the mix now"

Later she posted more pictures of Lincoln in his hockey gear.

“Melts my heart seeing him in his hockey gear,” Angela wrote.

Earlier, Angela and their daughter Liv attended Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour in Toronto. Angela shared photos of their trip, including Liv in a sparkly dress and heart-shaped sunglasses. Angela wore a shiny silver dress. Liv sipped colorful drinks at the concert and ended the day with a “girls night in.” They also explored the Rogers Centre and saw a chalk artist making a Taylor Swift portrait. The trip was a fun bonding experience for Angela and Liv.
