Connor McDavid and the Edmonton Oilers are back on track for the Stanley Cup trophy, which they missed in the 2023-24 NHL season. The Oilers are already 29 games into the 2024-25 NHL season, and McDavid is leading the offensive change to secure a spot for the playoff.
As the team focuses on hockey, Connor McDavid’s partner, Lauren Kyle, has been catching attention off the ice. On Friday, She shared Instagram stories from the Edmonton Oilers' ladies' Christmas party.
In the first story, Kyle donned an elegant burgundy turtleneck dress and paired it with bold gold earrings and a Zara clutch.
Kyle praised the clutch in the caption:
"10/10 would recommend this clutch feels like Bottega but it's @Zara."
The second story showcased a close-up of Kyle's makeup and hairstyle. She wore a sleek ponytail that matched her look.
The third story featured Kyle taking a selfie with Leon Draisaitl's fiancee, Celeste Desjardins, and another friend in front of the Edmonton Oilers logo.
While McDavid focuses on hockey, Kyle continues to impress with her sense of fashion. She is branching out creatively with her new sportswear brand, Sports Club Atelier.
Connor McDavid received a special honor for 1,000 NHL points.
On Dec. 6, before the Oilers’ game, Connor McDavid was honored for reaching 1,000 NHL career points. He achieved this milestone in 659 games, the fourth-fastest in NHL history. McDavid’s family, including his wife, Lauren Kyle, his parents, and their dog Lenny, joined him for the ceremony at Rogers Place.
McDavid received a golden stick and a custom Rolex from his teammates. Kyle later shared photos from the event on Instagram.
The first picture showed Kyle in a burgundy leather trench coat, carrying a textured handbag. Another showed Connor wearing a light gray suit, Lenny by his side. Other photos featured McDavid’s parents, a floral “1,000 points” display and Lenny wearing a custom locket reading “1000.”
Kyle also shared a selfie with Celeste Desjardins and friends. A clip showed Lenny appearing on Rogers Place's big screen. It was a special night for McDavid and his loved ones.
