Connor McDavid is embarking on a new chapter in his life alongside Lauren Kyle, but his focus now shifts back to hockey. With two years remaining on his $100 million contract with the Oilers, the 27-year-old is not considering thinking about the extension right now.
He's all about getting ready for the upcoming season and making sure he and the team are prepared. He told (via Edmonton Journal):
“It’s something that I’m not going to deal with. It’s a question I’ll answer once: I’m worried about this year and being ready for the season, both myself personally and the group. That’s where my focus is at, it’s not on anything else. That stuff takes care of itself, it’s not something I’m worried about."
