Edmonton Oilers captain Connor McDavid's wife, Lauren Kyle, has announced a new business project in Edmonton. She shared the news through a series of photos in an Instagram post on Monday, hinting at something exciting coming soon. The project is linked to the Canada Permanent Building, a historic landmark in downtown Edmonton at 10126 100 St NW.
"New business venture well in the works… coming soon Edmonton 👀 " Kyle captioned the post.
In one photo, Lauren was standing against the building's wall, dressed in a black coat, gloves and sunglasses while holding a coffee cup. A plaque behind her identifies the building as the Canada Permanent Building, designated as a "Municipal Historic Resource."
Another photo shows architectural plans for an elegant interior space, highlighting the name "TROVE LIVING BAR" with the words "COMING SOON SPRING 2025." The tagline "Curating Timeless Elegance" suggests the project will focus on luxury and design. It hints at a possible bar/lounge opening soon.
A final photo captures the Canada Permanent Building lit up at night, showcasing its detailed architecture. Construction materials near the entrance suggest ongoing renovations.
This announcement comes shortly after the launch of Connor McDavid's wife's luxury sportswear brand, Sports Club Atelier. Her new project reflects her dedication to sophistication and style. Set to open in spring 2025, it promises to bring something fresh and exciting to Edmonton.
