Edmonton Oilers captain Connor McDavid delivered one of the best performances of the season for the Oilers, notching up four assists, two of which contributed to Leon Draisaitl's two goals in the team's dominating 6-3 win over the Blue Jackets on Thursday.
With his four assists, McDavid became the third player in Oilers history to register 10 career games with four assists, joining Wayne Gretzky (51) and Jari Kurri (10).
Before the game, Rogers Place celebrated McDavid's 1,000 career points, making him the fourth-fastest player in NHL history to reach this milestone after scoring in a 3-2 win over the Nashville Predators on Nov. 14.
Connor McDavid has 35 points through 12 goals and 23 assists in 22 games this season.
