The results of the poll were revealed earlier in the day. There has been an increase of 126 players since last year's poll, which has made the results more interesting.
A total of 14 questions were put in the eighth edition of the poll including the most complete player, the most impactful forward in a must-win game, and more.
Connor McDavid got 59.3% votes to win the players' choice for the most impactful player in a must-win game. He came fifth with 7.7 on the question of the best passer, which was won by his teammate Leon Draisaitl with 25% votes.
Andrei Vasilevskiy got 52.5% votes and won the poll on the question If you need to win one game, who is the goalie you would want on your team?
Cole Maker of the Colorado Avalanche got 63.9% votes on the question who is the top defenceman in the game?
