NHL fans reacted strongly after a photo of Connor Bedard was shared online, recreating a scene from "Ferris Bueller’s Day Off." The photo, posted by B/R Open Ice on X, showed Bedard in front of a painting at the Art Institute of Chicago. It was part of a cover shoot for the December 2024 issue of Chicago Magazine.
The Connor Bedard photo was a tribute to the famous scene from the 1986 movie, where Ferris Bueller stands in front of Seurat's painting. Fans quickly responded, with many expressing frustration.
One fan called it “disrespectful.”
While another said, “Don’t disrespect Howe this way,” referring to hockey legend Gordie Howe.
"I don't know how i feel about this," a fan said.

Chicago Blackhawks defeated the Minnesota Wild 2-1
The Chicago Blackhawks won 2-1 in overtime against the Minnesota Wild on Sunday at United Center.
The first goal came from Jason Dickinson at 16:44 in the first period. He skated into the slot and scored with a wrist shot.
Matt Boldy tied the game 1-1 at 15:29 in the third period. He shot the puck off the crossbar and in, after receiving a pass from Kirill Kaprizov. In overtime, Philipp Kurashev scored the game-winning goal at 1:50.
Connor Bedard's slow start and Blackhawks' misery
Connor Bedard has started this season at a slow pace. He has scored 13 points in 16 games, which includes only three goals and 10 assists. It's not like he is not trying. He has recorded 52 shots on goal but is failing to score on the chances.
Chicago Blackhawks, on the other hand, have a record of 6-9-1 this season. They are placed seventh in the Central Division with 13 points. The Division is led by the Winnipeg Jets with 15 wins and one loss, followed by the Minnesota Wild and Dallas Stars.
