Elias Lindholm's wife Annica reflects on a rollercoaster 2024 filled with family growth and new beginnings

On Dec. 31, Annica Englund, wife of Elias Lindholm, shared her thoughts on 2024. She posted a video on Instagram, showing memories from the year.

The year started with a family vacation in Cabo. Things changed quickly when Elias Lindholm was traded from Calgary to Vancouver while they were flying home. They then went to Toronto for the NHL All-Star weekend. Their son, Levi, also turned one year old during this time.

The couple moved to Vancouver and had a fun playoff. In the summer, they returned to Sweden and moved into a new house. Lindholm signed with the Boston Bruins.

Annica and Elias got married at City Hall. Later in the year, they welcomed their second son, Luka, on Sep. 23. Annica also mentioned making a book.

"Started the year with a family vacation in Cabo. On the flight back home Elias got traded from Calgary to Vancouver ... Elias signed with Boston. We went to City Hall and got married.

"We moved in August and in the end of September, our second son Luka was born. Made a book ... it’s been an eventful year, so to speak. It’s been fun but also a bit stressful. So I wish that 2025 can be a little more chill," she captioned the post.

Annica, 34, is a social media influencer and TV personality. She shares her travels and experiences with over 163K followers on Instagram. Annica has been open about her struggles with IVF and miscarriages.

She welcomed her first son, Levi, in Feb. 2023, after a difficult journey to motherhood. Elias even missed a game against the New York Rangers for Levi’s birth.

Elias and Annica got engaged on Christmas Eve 2022. They married on July 7, 2024, with Levi at the ceremony. Their family grew with the birth of Luka in September. The couple’s journey in 2024 was full of big changes, but they are excited for the year ahead.

On Sept. 23, 2024, Elias Lindholm and his wife Annica welcomed their second son, Luka.

In September, Annica shared that they had originally considered naming him “Leo,” but it became too common. Elias then chose Luka, which matched well with their first son, Levi’s name.

“...we wanted one that worked both in Sweden but also internationally. We liked short names and had Leo since before. But then a lot of people started naming their children that so it didn't feel right to us," Annica wrote [translated from Swedish]. But then, I told Elias that he got to decide and then it became Luka. And it fit so well, Levi and Luka Lindholm."
