Evgeni Malkin met Golden State Warrior champion and two-time NBA MVP Stephen Curry when he visited the Warriors' practice ground on Monday before attending their game against the Washington Wizards.

Malkin jokingly stated that it was indeed Steph Curry who had the pleasure of meeting him.

NHL fans on Twitter reacted to the two All-Stars meeting up.

"The most lethal shooter and Steph curry" tweeted @patrick7111996
"I am fan of the blazer Geno's been rocking lately. It just seems right, looks good on him" @harper_liles

Malkin visited the Warriors on the Penguins' day off before wrapping up their West Coast road trip with a game against the San Jose Sharks on Tuesday night. They won the game 3-1 with Sidney Crosby assisting in all three goals.

Evgeni Malkin reaches 1,200 career-point milestone

On Feb. 11, in the game against the Anaheim Ducks, Evgeni Malkin became the third player in Penguins history to achieve 1,200 career points. He joined the likes of Sidney Crosby and legend Mario Lemieux. He is the 51st player to reach this milestone in the history of the NHL and just the fourth active player to do so.

When asked about his accomplishments, Malkin said he does not want to think about the points he has and just wants to play with his great team. He even considers the fact that by the time he retires, he might have 1,500 points and that he will be happy with that number:

"I don't want to think about, 'Oh! How much points I make without injuries?' I play for a great team. still three more years. Maybe when I retire, I have 1,500 points. It's a good number, too. I'm okay."
