In Sunday's preseason game between the Ottawa Senators and the Pittsburgh Penguins, fans reacted to Brady Tkachuk's NSFW chirp from the bench.

Tkachuk directed a colorful comment at Sam Poulin, saying:

“Oh, now you drop ‘em? You gotta be fu**ing kidding me? And I thought you got the fu**ing biggest head ever. Fu**ing megamind. I was surprised.”

In the video, Brady Tkachuk called out Poulin for not responding to a challenge earlier in the game. Following his outburst, NHL fans reacted on X.

"Far too loud for how little he's accomplished?," one fan said.
"Losing the game, yelling and hiding behind his bench and hitting the glass to seem tough. Yup same old Brady," another fan commented.
"This guys a loser," one X user said.

Here are some more reactions from fans on X.

"Coward player yelling from the safety of the bench, when his team is losing, late in a game....yep....same guy," one user commented.
"Someone needs to just shut him up. Such an a**hole," one fan said.
"I'm one of those hockey fans that would like to see the Sens have success, but they spend way too much time yapping for a team that performs like they do. They're never going to be successful until they stop getting sidetracked by all the extracurricular BS," a fan commented.

Tense moments in Senators vs. Penguins game amidst Brady Tkachuk's attention-grabbing chirp

Senators captain Brady Tkachuk left the ice in the third period, favoring his shoulder after a hit. He briefly went to the dressing room but returned to finish the game. The Senators played against a skilled Penguins team led by stars Sidney Crosby and Evgeni Malkin. Both players helped the Penguins to a 5-2 win.

Senators coach Travis Green praised his team's performance in the first two periods.

“I really liked our game the first 40 minutes. We had a lot of quality time in their zone, we didn’t give up a lot. A lot of nights, you’re going to be leading after two.” he said via (ottawacitizen.com)

Ottawa showed promise, outshooting Pittsburgh 15-9 in the opening period.

The game started with Nick Cousins scoring after a Penguins turnover. Sidney Crosby quickly equalized the score. Then, Tim Stutzle put the Senators ahead again.

The Penguins responded with Evgeni Malkin scoring two goals, one from a deflected shot. Despite some questionable calls and a strong effort from the Senators, they had trouble keeping their lead.

Brady Tkachuk and the Senators will be looking forward to their remaining pre-season games against Montreal and Detroit.
