John Tortorella shared his thoughts following the Philadelphia Flyers' 3-2 loss in a shootout to the Columbus Blue Jackets on Tuesday at Nationwide Arena.

Travis Konecny and Matvei Michkov missed their chances during the shootout, while the Blue Jackets converted two of their three attempts. The defeat snapped the Flyers' two-game winning streak.

Tortorella appeared to be taking a dig at the atmosphere at the Blue Jackets' arena following what he described as a "low event game." He expressed frustration over the Philadelphia Flyers' missed opportunity to secure a win, noting they let the game slip away towards the end.

"Low event game by both teams. You know, it's kind of a dead building, we put a lot of gas into our game last night, frustrating to me because we have a chance to win this one, and I think we pissed it away a little bit at the end, but we'll just take the point and go," John Tortorella said after the game.

Tortorella acknowledged the performance of the Drysdale-Seeler pairing but pointed out that there are several areas that need improvement.

"Yeah, yeah. There's your problem. The analytics... They're good at times. There's still a number of things you need to work on there," he added.

The Philadelphia Flyers have yet to register a win in three back-to-back games since November. With a 19-20-6 record and 44 points, they are fifth in the Metro Division and four points behind the East's second wild card position.
