"Where will he eventually end up on this legendary list?"
Fans shared their guesses on X:
"Just above Super Mario," one fan said.
"He will not pass Gordie," another fan commented.
"Third Penguin and some people want to list him as the 4th player of all-time. Top 10 All-Time? Yes. 8th or 9th at best. Behind Lemieux and Jagr," one X user said.

"200 points in 3 seasons seems like a lot but I wouldn’t doubt him so I’d say when he retires he’s top 5," a fan tweeted.
"It would be very poetic if he finished ahead of Mario Lemieux and took the title of GPOAT," one fan commented.
"Alot of great legends on this list! Many of them played for a single team their whole career. In contrast, the leading Canucks scorer (pts scored as a Canuck) has only 1070 points... A full 526 pts behind Crosby. Hats off to Crosby and a reminder that the Canucks are useless," a fan said.
Mark Madden thinks Penguins should trade Sidney Crosby if there is no contract extension
Sidney Crosby will be playing his 20th season with the Pittsburgh Penguins after being drafted first overall in 2005. He is set to become a free agent after the 2024–25 season. Crosby has played all 82 games in the last two seasons and scored over 90 points each year.
There’s talk about his contract extension, but no deal is final yet. NHL analyst Mark Madden believes that if Sidney Crosby's contract isn’t signed soon, it could create tension during the season.
“If he doesn’t, I think we can start wondering," Madden said on Monday. "If he’s not signed, this is something that drags on all year. It’s gonna drive him crazy, so he will sign the contract, just to avoid that."
Madden also suggested the Penguins should trade Crosby if no extension is agreed upon.
"Honestly, if he doesn’t sign the contract, they should trade him this year," he added.
Sidney Crosby has been with Pittsburgh his whole career and hasn’t shown signs of wanting to leave. A three-year extension might keep him with the team until he turns 40.
