Parker Wotherspoon featured a video on his Instagram page, showing off how the Boston Bruins’ offseason has gotten off to an 'electric start.' While the Bruins are enjoying their time away from the rink, fans react to B’s good spirits.
The spirited Boston Bruins have seemingly made a fun start to their offseason as the business of preparing for next season begins.
This fan got straight to the point:
Another fan chimed in:
"Brandon Carlo is loving his best life!" a fan wrote.
Fans love sharing the happy moments their hometown heroes show. But some fans took the time to poke fun at their division rivals.
Here’s a fan who couldn’t help make a comparison:
"Imagine this was the leafs lol"
This fan thinks the B’s and Leafs should hang out:
"They look extremely happy to go golfing with the Leafs"
Here’s another fan offering their two cents:
"Holy sh*t imagine if a Leafs player posted this."
Questions surround the club as several key players become free agents. In the meantime, one thing is certain: the Bruins are not down in the dumps following this year’s playoff elimination.
The Boston Bruins’ young talent a bright spot
Veteran Pat Maroon knows what it takes to win. He’s won three Stanley Cup titles with three different teams. This season, he joined the Bruins, hoping to lead the club over a major playoff hurdle.
While it wasn’t meant to be for the Bruins this season, Maroon pointed out a bright spot. Maroon was quoted by NESN, stating:
"I mean, look at the young talent that was inserted into the lineup throughout the year. Justin Brazeau, Beecher, Lohrei, Spoons (Parker Wotherspoon) – there’s a lot of talent in this room. Some of them only played 14 games and then playoffs, some played 15 games, some played 25 games. Imagine if they had a full year under their belt. There’s a lot of young talent in this group. I think it’s only on the upward."
Maroon’s optimistic assessment seems to paint a positive picture as the Bruins head into another era. Maroon concluded:
"I think they can win soon."
Whether Maroon is a part of that winning culture or not, his veteran leadership enables him to spot winners. As such, it seems the Bruins have the foundations for what could be another generation of strong players that can lead Boston to another Cup.
In the meantime, NESN reports that Maroon wants to stay with the Boston Bruins. With such a young, talented core, the Bruins could use someone with Maroon’s leadership and experience.
