Connor McDavid talks about the wedding plans
Connor McDavid has kept most details of his upcoming wedding to fiancée Lauren Kyle private. However, in an interview with GQ in February, the hockey superstar opened up a bit about their plans for the big day.
McDavid said Kyle has taken charge of most of the wedding planning:
"I've got to make sure that I've got my guys dressed, looking good and heading down the aisle on time. That's been my role so far."
However, he added Kyle may ask for his input as the date gets closer.
McDavid has been focusing on coordinating outfits for his groomsmen. He revealed he would dress them in black suits from the Montreal-based brand Maison Cloakroom.
"I'm getting all the guys some nice black suits to look good on the big day," McDavid said.
"We bounced around a couple of different ideas. It's going to be a summer wedding, so I was worried about the fellas being too hot. I was suggesting something a little bit lighter and not black suits. But ultimately, Lauren wanted something a little bit more traditional and that's the way we're going to go."
McDavid remained tight-lipped about other wedding details.
