Connor McDavid and Lauren Kyle shared pictures from their Christmas celebration on Instagram. They spent the holiday with family and friends at their family home in Newmarket, Ontario, where McDavid's parents, Brian and Kelly McDavid, live.
Lauren captioned her post:
"A very merry Christmas!!🫶🏻🎄❤️ Happy holidays everyone!"
The photos offered a simple, warm look at their holiday moments. In one picture, Lauren is holding a baby and smiling warmly. She is wearing a lace blouse in a cozy room with stone walls. Another photo shows Connor McDavid on a private jet with their dog, Lenny, resting on his chest.
One picture features a beautifully set dining table with red roses, greenery, crystal glasses and dishes like green peas. McDavid and Kyle also posed with family, including his brother, Cameron McDavid, and his partner, Sarah Nanacsik, in front of a decorated Christmas tree.
The post concludes with a video of the family playing hockey.
Connor McDavid’s wife Lauren partners with Edmonton Oilers for limited merch drop
Earlier in December, Connor McDavid’s wife Lauren partnered with the Edmonton Oilers to create a limited-edition sportswear collection. Lauren launched her brand, Sports Club Atelier, featuring varsity jackets inspired by the Oilers and collegiate sportswear.
The Oilers promoted the collection on X, celebrating Edmonton’s hockey history and encouraging fans to buy before it sold out.
Lauren said her designs were inspired by the spirit, history and style of collegiate sportswear.
"Just the spirit and the aesthetic and history behind collegiate sportswear," Lauren said.
She announced plans to release another collection before the NHL playoffs, featuring new items for fans.
“Edmonton has such a rich hockey history and amazing fan viewership,” she said.
Lauren is also an interior designer and opened Kyle & Co. Design Studio in Edmonton in August 2023. Her designs focus on simple, modern furniture made from natural materials like wood and stone. She emphasizes clean lines, warm textures and functional spaces.
Lauren graduated from Ryerson’s School of Interior Design and continues to support McDavid’s hockey career while building her own design business.
