The second click had the entire Tkachuk family, including parents Keith and Chantal Tkachuk. Matthew's partner Ellie Connell was also in the picture. Taryn shared a third photo hugging her brother and in the final picture, she can be seen lifting the Stanley Cup herself.

Matthew Tkachuk shares touching moment of being walked out of the house by father and brother

During a recent appearance on the Pat McAfee Show on Wednesday, Matthew Tkachuk opened up on his ‘wild’ celebrations after winning the Stanley Cup. He called the trophy the ‘best thing in the world’ and talked about the minutes right after their victory.

“It was the most special feeling from the second we won, like the clock hit zero to lifting the cup, let's call it 15 minutes—the best 15 minutes of my life. Words can't even describe how excited I was to see Barky [Aleksander Barkov] carry it and see my teammates,” Tkachuk said.

He also shared the touching story of how his father and brother Brady Tkachuk walked him out of the house on the day of the title-deciding game. Matthew mentioned being proudest for being able to put his family's name on the Stanley Cup.

“Before the game started, I got walked out of the house by my dad and brother,” Tkachuk said. “That was one of the moments it really hit me that we were winning this tonight. I'm not just winning it for my teammates and everyone I've battled with all year long, but I want to win it for them too.”
“Raising the cup, skating a lap around, stopping at the end of my lap right in front of where my family was sitting, just taking a moment, looking at them, lifting it up as proud as I could. It was so special. It really is a trophy that doesn't just reflect on what you've done or what your teammates have done, but everybody that got you there. I was most proud to get that Tkachuk name on that trophy for my family.”

Tkachuk told the story of how at the Elbow Room bar, he and a few teammates spontaneously decided to take the Stanley Cup into the Atlantic Ocean. With hundreds of fans following, it turned into a memorable and wild celebration.

The party didn't stop there as they celebrated till midnight and then back out to the Elbow Room by early morning. It seems their celebrations will continue until Sunday when they take the trophy out for the Champions Parade.
