On Wednesday, Vancouver Canucks forward J.T. Miller’s wife Natalie congratulated her fellow hockey spouses Cat Toffoli and Juie Petry on starting their own podcast. Cat and Julie are set to go live with the first episode of "Never Offside," an NHL podcast, next week.
Natalie shared a screengrab of Cat’s original Instagram post announcing the good news. She captioned the post:
“SO EXCITED FOR YOU GUYS.”
Cat Toffoli is married to San Jose Sharks alternate captain Tyler Toffoli while Julie’s husband Jeff Petry is a defenseman with the Detroit Red Wings. The duo said their podcast would feature behind-the-scenes news and events from the NHL.
One of the biggest rumors in the league currently involves the reported rift between Natalie's husband J.T. Miller and Canucks forward Elias Pettersson. The two players have reportedly been on the outs for weeks.
NHL analyst Pierre LeBrun, in his Tuesday's column for The Athletic, wrote about the debacle. He claimed that the Canucks had sent out feelers into the trade market regarding offers for both Miller and Pettersson.
Cat is a seasoned sports journalist, having worked for Trojan All-Access TV and in broadcasting for the LA Dodgers, where she met her husband. She also has a Broadcast Journalism degree from the University of Southern California.
Julie Petry is a fashion entrepreneur; she launched the sports clothing brand "Line Change" with Montreal Canadiens goalie Carey Price’s wife Angela.
Julie attended Michigan State University where she met her husband. The couple have four boys; Boyd, Barrett, Bowen and Blake.
J.T. Miller's wife Natalie shares Team USA’s special gift ahead of 4 Nations Face-Off
The Vancouver forward will be part of Team USA in the upcoming 4 Nations Face-Off. Canada, Finland and Sweden are the other three teams in the round robin tournament scheduled to be held from February 12 to 20. It will also replace the All-Star game this season.
On Dec. 21, Natalie posted about a welcome message and tote bag USA Hockey reportedly had delivered to players’ family members, thanking them for their support.
“Welcome to our family! Thank you for your support of Team USA's players and staff at the 2025 NHL 4 Nations Face Off. USA Hockey,” read the message on the card.
The bag featured an embroidered "USA" logo which was also embossed on the card.
