Vancouver Canucks forward J.T. Miller and his wife Natalie appeared in Vancouver Magazine’s "At Home" series on Jan. 15. In contrast to the recent speculation surrounding Miller’s future with the Canucks, the feature focused more on the player’s home life with his wife, their children and dogs.

On Wednesday, the magazine posted a sneak peek into their home, including a behind-the-scenes video featuring candid footage from the shoot.

“What you saw in print… vs what we saw behind the scenes,” Vancouver Magazine wrote in the reel.
“We couldn’t print these adorable videos of @nataliemiller22_ and J.T. Miller’s dogs, so we’re bringing them here to you now,” the magazine captioned.

The short video included the setup time and efforts the camera crew and journalists made to get the best photos. It also showed several of the visitors petting and playing games with J.T. and Natalie’s two dogs, who seemed excited to meet them.

Hockey pundits have been claiming for over a week that Miller is about to be traded because of the rumored rift between him and fellow Canucks' star Elias Pettersson. Sportsnet analyst Elliotte Friedman reported in his "32 Thoughts" column that two franchises have been permitted to approach Miller about a trade.

"The Hurricanes and Rangers are two of the teams with permission to talk to J.T. Miller," Friedman wrote on Thursday. "I get very mixed messages on New Jersey. The Rangers have the cap room to do it, but the Devils would need to perform roster surgery to pull it off."

He added that Pettersson has expressed a desire to stay.

Vancouver Canucks general manager Patrick Allvin dodged questions on Tuesday about whether the Rangers had made an offer for Miller.

J.T. Miller and his wife have put down roots in Vancouver

Vancouver Magazine’s feature on the Millers’ residence showed the effort the couple made to build their home. Natalie, an interior designer by profession, was the brains behind most of the homey touches, according to J.T. Miller.

“My parents get mad because I don’t call (Pennsylvania) home anymore," Miller said, via Vancouver Magazine. "But what Natalie’s done with the house — she’s transformed it in the time we’ve been here; it really feels like home now.”

According to sources, Natalie Miller refurnished the entire house after J.T. signed a seven-year deal with the Canucks in 2022.
