Erin Andrews, wife of former NHL player Jarret Stoll, shared her thoughts on Hurricane Milton on Instagram. The hurricane has been downgraded to a Category 4 but still has strong winds of 145 mph. The National Hurricane Center called it "extremely dangerous." The storm is moving toward Florida’s Gulf coast after passing near Mexico’s Yucatan Peninsula.

Erin urged everyone to stay safe. She said, "My heart is breaking for my city of Tampa. Please please, do everything you can to be safe."

President Joe Biden provided an update about the hurricane. He thanked people for their patience and warned that Hurricane Milton could be "one of the worst storms" in 100 years. He urged Floridians in evacuation areas to leave now. Biden stated it is "a matter of life and death."

A hurricane warning is in effect for the west coast of Florida, including Tampa Bay. The storm surge could raise water levels by up to 15 feet in Tampa Bay. Hurricane Milton could bring 5 to 12 inches of rain, which may cause flash flooding in some areas. Tampa Mayor Jane Castor warned that staying in evacuation zones could be dangerous.

Tampa International Airport has closed to prepare for the storm. Milton is the fifth hurricane to make landfall in the U.S. this year. As the storm approaches, the community remains on alert and prepares for the worst.

Earlier Tampa Bay Lightning's preseason game was canceled due to Hurricane Milton

The Tampa Bay Lightning’s NHL preseason game against the Nashville Predators was canceled due to Hurricane Milton. The game was scheduled for 7 p.m. on Monday at AMALIE Arena. It was rescheduled from September 27 because of Hurricane Helene.

Next, the Lightning will play the Carolina Hurricanes on Friday, October 11, in Raleigh, North Carolina, to start the new season.

Erin Andrews and Jarret Stoll welcomed their baby after a long struggle.

Erin Andrews and Jarret Stoll became parents on June 28, 2023. Their son, Mack Roger Stoll, was born via surrogate and weighed 7 pounds, 7 ounces.

Erin and Jarret Stoll married in 2017 after dating for five years. Before Mack's birth, they faced many challenges. Erin went through a 10-year IVF process and was diagnosed with cervical cancer in 2016. After several failed IVF attempts, they decided to use a surrogate. Sadly, they lost twins during this time.

After restarting their journey, their last IVF transfer was successful. Mack's arrival was quick, and Erin was excited to finally be a mom. She loves studying her baby and making up for lost time.

Mack was introduced to sports even before his birth. Erin shared that she played games during their surrogate’s pregnancy. Now as parents, Erin and Jarret Stoll have a competitive spirit. They want to be the best caregivers for Mack.
